Martha Zschock lives with her family on Cape Cod. Field trips with her third grade students inspired her first book, Journey Around Cape Cod and the Islands from A to Z. Carol Chittenden, owner of Eight Cousins Children’s Books in Falmouth, Mass., wrote, “For years we’ve sought a high-quality children’s picture book about Cape Cod. . . . Hallelujah, it’s been worth the wait.” (Cape Cod magazine)

Martha Zschock majored in art at Connecticut College and earned her master’s degree in education from Lesley College. Her work includes watercolors and illustrations for greeting cards, journals, and catalogs. She often collaborates with her twin sister, Heather Zschock, an art director and freelance designer living in Manhattan, who designed this book.
